Flesh-eating daggerworm

The flesh-eating daggerworm was a type of parasitic, non-sentient worm that originated at the Outer Rim world Trenwyth and lived in the internal organs of happabores, quadrupedal creatures that could be found on many planets in the Western Reaches. The Galacti-Stok–distributed Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer, which could be used to control the populations of several types of parasitic happabore worms, was not recommended for treating flesh-eating daggerworm infestations. That fact was noted in an advertisement leaflet for the dewormer that was eventually included by the scavenger Rey in the survival guide she was writing before her departure from the planet Jakku—where happabores were one of the resident lifeforms—in 34 ABY.
