Gorothite

The Gorothites were the native inhabitants of the planet Goroth Prime. In 10 BBY, the Galactic Empire outsourced the mining of highly radioactive hyperbarides beneath Goroth Prime's crust to several of its subsidiaries who used the Gorothites as forced labor. This resulted in many of the natives being heavily exposed to the radiation and resulted in disastrous amounts of damage to them and their homeworld. The historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the Imperial treatment of the Gorothites in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire in 35 ABY.
