Gryzards were gator-like carnivores that lived in the murky waters of the planet Veelo. During or after 18 BBY, a group of gryzards attacked the bounty hunter Fennec Shand and the clones Hunter and Wrecker as they traveled along a river on Veelo in a hydroskiff. After one dragged Hunter into the river, the group managed to fend off the creatures and escape on their vessel.
