Gualaar were a type of quadruped animal indigenous to the mountains and hills of Naboo. They were tall and broad-barrelled with white fur, black eyes, and a single large horn on their head and two on their snout.
Domesticated a long time ago by the Naboo, the gualaar's build and strength made them perfect beasts of burden. The Royal House of Naboo kept a herd of gualaar that were used to carry state officials.
Four gualaar were used to pull the carriage that carried Senator Padmé Amidala's open casket at her funeral on the planet Naboo in 19 BBY.
