The kahmurra blanca was a subtype of kahmurra, a race of murra bioengineered in the Kahmurra Biogenetic Research Station on Talus. A mutated variant, this creature was larger, stronger and more resistant to average kahmurra. It also had large horns and tusks.
The existence of the kahmurra blanca was first reported during the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY, adventurous spacers traveled to Talus in order to hunt painted spats. At least one was known to be found near the Kahmurra Biogenetic Research Station. The heads of these animals were sometimes displayed as a trophy by locals and big-game hunters who had killed them.
