The Klytonians were a sentient species originating in the Klytonia system of the Outer Rim Territories' Bheriz sector. Their bodies were covered with leathery scales, which produced electric field vibrations that allowed them to communicate with each other.
In 0 BBY, multiple Klytonians were present at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in the Mos Eisley settlement on the Arkanis sector planet Tatooine. The Klytonians communicated with each other across the room they were in.
