Knaar

Knaars were, fast-moving, nocturnal, reptilian, predators, with yellow eyes, purplish-blue scales, and a silver frill of razor-sharp spines along their backs. These predators possessed powerful jaws for tearing apart prey as well as a slashing tail armed with barbs for defense. Native to the planet Anobis, these migratory creatures traveled by night in packs of several hundred or were attracted by the natural light created by fire. With no understanding of stealth, these fearless creatures use intimidation via hooting and howling while pounding their clawed feet to panic prey as they stampede towards them. Knaars possess a ravenous apatite so extreme they even devour the wounded and/or corpses of their own kind if the opportunity presents itself. Human victims had been observed being swallowed whole by the Knaar during a stampede.
