Marsh ponies were a type of pony that had a vegetarian diet. In 228 BBY, while unloading supplies on the Republic Defense Coalition mobile launch and repair station, the pilot Jordanna Sparkburn thought about how her girlfriend Sylvestri Yarrow wanted to one day buy land on a prairie moon where she could herd marsh ponies. Sparkburn also mentally noted that her vollka Remy loved herding vegetarians.
