The Mephout was a sentient species originating in the Wild Space Mephout system. In the Mephout society, all diplomatic duties were handled by the females of the species. The RST Model Translator Droids, humanoid automatons designed in the image of female Mephout, handled nearly all translating duties throughout the sector known as the Mephout Dominion until its discovery by the Galactic Empire.
