Moss ghoat

Moss ghoats were a type of ghoat. During the High Republic Era, the Path of the Open Hand cult had moss ghoats that they gathered fertilizer from to use in their fields at their compound on the Outer Rim planet Dalna. In 382 BBY, when the Path member Marda Ro was showing Jedi Master Zallah Macri and Padawan Kevmo Zink around the compound, Zink asked why they did not use better tools or fertilizer. Ro responded that they did use fertilizer, which was natural and gathered from their moss ghoats, but that the Path chose to only use technology when necessary because they believed it interfered with their harmony with the Force.
