Mudrats were a type of rodent that enjoyed spending time in mud. In 29 BBY, the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi noted that his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, seemed happier than a mudrat in mud after the pair landed on the moon Black Rock to infiltrate the criminal Pyke Syndicate's underground Varl Circuit podracing event.
