A nue was, according to a song, a nocturnal creature. When human Jedi Tsubaki trekked to a royal palace to confront Sith Lord Masago, Tsubaki's travel guides Senshu and Kamahachi sang the song that referred to a nue that cried, believing the music had the power to ward off evil spirits.
