Steel-boring beetle

Steel-boring beetles were a type of beetle found in the iron jungles of the planet Ylagia's eastern continent. In the first year of the Empire's reign after its formation in 19 BBY, the former resident of Ylagia Soujen Vak-Nhalis heard the metallic murmur of steel-boring beetles in the jungles below him while he was on a mountainside on the world.
