Stingfly
Canon Legends version → Linked from 5 articles
A stingfly was a type of insect. According to Thrawn, thousands of stingflies being encouraged to attack a tusklan from all sides would kill the creature. The use of stingflies as a hunting method took time and ruined the pelt of the tusklan, but the hunter remained safe as the tusklan didn't know where the attack came from.
