Tangler tree

The tangler tree was a species of tree that grew on the planet Naboo. Considered to be a docile species, the tangler tree had tentacle-like vines and branches that intermingled with other plants. Shortly after the Battle of Naboo, a tangler tree was mutated by the renegade Force-sensitive Savor Kibbs. Sitting in the middle of an area that came to be known as the dark grove, the mutated tangler tree was more hostile than other members of its species and had thick, sharp thorns on its vines. Members of the Naboo Underground were attacked by the tree during their mission to deal with Kibbs and his followers.
