Teal oroko

The teal oroko, commonly known as simply oroko, were aquatic nine-pointed echinoderms that could be found in the sea of the planet Kwenn. The creatures had numerous spawning grounds within the islands of the Gem Cities of Kwenn, including near the Gala, Essafa, and Malbaira Keys. The latter island, a protected nature reserve, was known for its views of the oroko. After the ecological collapse of Kwenn during the Republic Era, the zoological academy on the planet Alderaan, judging Kwenn as a lost cause, removed a school of oroko to a lagoon preserve, returning the creatures after Kwenn's environment was restored in the High Republic Era's Grand Renewal.
