A quadrupedal creature was native to the planet Benglor. It was a carnivorous animal that could capture prey with a prehensile tongue. The creature was coated in a slime-like mucus.
During the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and clone troopers of the 501st Legion encountered one of these creatures during a mission to Benglor. The creature killed one of Skywalker's men, but was eventually pacified by the Jedi and his second-in-command, Clone Captain CT-7567 "Rex."
