A sentient species was distinguished by the large, thin, curved head crest that extended from their nose, up and over the top of their cranium, and tapering off at their nape, able to be pierced seemingly without issue. By 22 BBY, a member of this species had been a Jedi of the Jedi Order, well known enough to have multiple busts of them displayed around the Jedi Archives.
