A flying creature which strongly resembled known species of insects was seen flying near a river on Endor, before a carnivorous tree used its tongue to capture the creature, drag it into its mouth and swallow it whole. The insect made a loud buzzing sound as flied, and its wings were seen rapidly flapping, allowing it to remain airborne before being eaten.
