Unidentified Sarafur species

A sentient species once lived on the Outer Rim Territories planet Sarafur, which at some point became a tide-locked world. The species built many unusual stone structures in the zone separating the planet's illuminated and dark sides, establishing a bustling city there.

At one point by 26,000 BBY, a Killik Sith warrior took up refuge in the city, ultimately becoming entombed in a building that the native inhabitants had used for bathing in sulfurous mineral waters. Eventually, eons before the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Sarafur species went extinct, and the natives' buildings turned into ruins.
