Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A sentient species resided in the galaxy around 3643 BBY. Considered by some to be primitive, they treated holodramas created by the Hutt director Leero—which were generally considered tasteless in the wider galaxy—as divine messages.

Around that year, an individual affiliated with one of the sides in the ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire tasked a companion with helping Leero facilitate sales of their works. The companion discovered the species and their veneration of Leero's holodramas, and subsequently the aliens happily traded their wealth for discs containing those works.
