Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
This spiny creature lived on the Forest Moon of Endor. It had a long, tapered snout, pointy ears, and climbed on all fours. The creature had black fur with a white stripe down the center. It had a large, gray shell with white spines on it. This animal was arboreal, able to climb trees with ease.
Wicket Wystri Warrick once had a painful encounter with one of these creatures while taking his skills test to become a warrior. When Warrick was blasted with bad luck from a lucksprite, he grabbed the spiked creature rather than the doll he had intended to grab. The spikes caused Warrick to fall from the tree and fail his test.
