Varlax were a non-sentient species of creature native to Dxun, a moon of the planet Onderon. Varlax were predatory creatures, closely related to the similar Orlax species found on Onderon, although the Varlax species delivered a powerful hemotoxic venom through their large lower tusks. The venom was known to be particularly painful by Onderon's natives, and Varlax attacks rarely left any survivors.
