Vulptillas were fox-like non-sentient creatures that developed crystalline armor around their vital areas, as they reached maturity, and possessing great intelligence. They were apex predators of the frozen wastes. The Infernal variants were found underground in areas with molten activity, with their fiery eyes and glowing crystalline armor. Around 3628 BBY, they were very desirable to beast tamers across the galaxy and could be used as mounts.
