Wode

The Wodes were an octopedal sentient species native to a planet with a gravitational pull twice that of the galactic standard. When traveling to worlds with lesser gravities, the Wodes took very heavy steps, unaccustomed to their lighter weight.

During the Clone Wars, in which the Galactic Republic fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the Wodes were liberated by the Republic's General Solomahal. At some point between 2 BBY and 1 BBY, a number of Wodes were present on the planet Bonadan at the same time that the smuggler Han Solo was there investigating an enslavement ring.
