Wollod

The wollod was a species of mollusk that lived in the waterways of Naboo, a planet in the Mid Rim's Chommell sector that featured seas and swamps on its surface as well as an extensive system of water-filled tunnels beneath it. The creature's name eventually became a surname used among members of Naboo's native Gungan species, with Gungan Commander Wollod—who was in service by the time shortly before the Battle of Naboo of 32 BBY—being one such individual to share that name.
