The construction and overhaul facility was a massive shipyard located over Kartoosh. Galactic Republic engineer Orson Callan Krennic took part in helping to design the facility in 23 BBY. Following the Clone Wars, the facility had seen great damage, yet it remained operational and was used by the Galactic Empire.
