The Destrier was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer that served in the Imperial Navy. During the early years of the Galactic Empire, the 77th Air Wing was assigned to the Destrier and the Star Destroyer fought in various engagements against smugglers, pirates and Separatist holdouts along the Great Gran Run hyperlane. In 17 BBY, the Star Destroyer was attached to the Western Reaches Superiority Force, a fleet commanded by admirals Bannidge Holt and Terrinald Screed that had been tasked with driving Confederacy of Independent Systems holdouts from the Western Reaches region.
