DGS-286

DGS-286 was an HMP droid gunship that was classified as a heavy repulsorlift airspeeder, reaching 12.3 meters in length, 11 meters in width, and 3.1 meters in height. The droid gunship boasted a single heavy laser cannon and two dual medium laser cannons, and was also equipped with concussion bombs, missiles, and a deflector shield generator. A pair of two binocular rangefinders and rangefinder preprocessors aided DGS-286's long-range spatial and missile guidance systems. But on the forward hull, it received sensor capabilities from four long-range sensor ports and two red-colored photoreceptors. DGS-286 was also equipped with ion-drive engines and repulsorlift generators.

DGS-286 took part in the Clone Wars, fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, in the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic. Constructed late in the conflict, it was involved in an engagement with a Republic Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter. As it gave pursuit, it fired several of its missiles upon the starfighter.
