The Flying Fish was a YT-1300 light freighter owned by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It was used by a group of Rebels on their mission to infiltrate and destroy the Imperial Data Processing Facility on Tazan. To provide a plausible cover story, the starship was loaded with low-grade medical supplies, while explosives were stored in a number of secret compartments located under the deck plating.
