Freedom Fighter

The Freedom Fighter was a GR-75 medium transport that served in the Alliance Fleet of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Following the Battle of Yavin, the Freedom Fighter was one of multiple transports that evacuated Alliance personnel on the surface. When the Galactic Empire launched an attack on the rebel base, the last Alliance personnel escaped on the Freedom Fighter and several other accompanying starships.

Eventually, it was discovered that one of the ship's crew was a spy for the Empire, and after briefly being captured by a Victory-class Star Destroyer, the Freedom Fighter managed to escape. The Freedom Fighter was under the command of Captain Darpik. Commander Ares Ginn served as the senior Alliance Army officer onboard, and Corporal Calle Tharandon served as the ship's quartermaster.
