Gold 4 was the designation of a BTL-A4 Y-wing in service to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The craft had several scars across its hull caused by small asteroid impacts. Stationed at the Great Temple on Yavin 4, the starfighter was piloted by Lieutenant Lepira and assigned to Gold Squadron. During the Battle of Yavin, Gold 4 was the point starfighter for Gold Squadron's approach to the Death Star.
