Green Squadron 3 was an RZ-1 A-wing interceptor in service to the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The fighter was part of Green Squadron during the Battle of Endor, piloted by Tycho Celchu. The fighter's canopy was modified to provide the pilot great vision when flying through tight confines, and had inlaid fijisi wood panelling. The latter modification led to Celchu suspecting it had been constructed on Cardooine.
During the Battle of Endor, Green Squadron 3 was assigned to fly top cover for the Millennium Falcon. Celchu flew the A-wing into the superstructure of the second Death Star alongside General Lando Calrissian and Commander Wedge Antilles before peeling off and returning to the surface in an effort to draw pursuit away from them.
