The IZ-5W44 was an Imperial transport that operated during the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY, the IZ-5W44 was assigned to transport weapons from the Rori Weapons Research Center to the Imperial Research Outpost on Endor. After departing Rori, the transport was attacked by Rebel forces and badly damaged. Starfigthers dispatched by the Endor Space Station rescued the ship in the Naboo system and escorted it to the Endor Space Station in the Endor system.
