Korriban's orbital security station was in orbit around Korriban in 3681 BBY. The station was attacked by the Sith Empire in the early stages of the Great Galactic War. It was primarily used to monitor the Korriban system, to prevent any Sith sympathizers acquiring Sith artifacts and to prevent smugglers from stealing them.
