A leech vessel was a type of starship that could be used to board another by cutting straight through its hull. During or after 18 BBY, Echo, Fireball, and Nemec utilized one such craft, the Remora-one, during their attack on the prisoner transport ship on Balmorra in order to board a Gozanti-class cruiser and extract a trio of clones detained by the Galactic Empire.
