The Mandator II-class Star Dreadnought, also known as the Mandator-II Star Dreadnaught, of the Mandator line was designed by Kuat Drive Yards. The mighty Star Dreadnought was much larger than a Venator-class Star Destroyer, although the ships of the latter class were far more numerous and extensively used by the Galactic Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Over 1,000 Recusant-class light destroyers were needed to challenge a Mandator II-class vessel.
