Providence-class Carrier

The Providence-class Carrier was a variant of the Providence-class Dreadnought utilized by the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. At some point in the war, one such carrier was present in an engagement within the atmosphere of a terrestrial body in which two Republic Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunships and two clone Z-95 Headhunters flew by it from either side. Following the end of the war, another Providence-class Carrier became part of the naval forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, where it served in an Alliance fleet alongside multiple other vessels in an engagement in space against forces of the Galactic Empire.
