Ranger (Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport)

Ranger was a Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport used by Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.

When the Habassa evacuated the Rebel B-wing assembly. The Alliance entered negotiations to gain a new ally against the Galactic Empire. The Habassa were skeptical however, so an opportunity arose when Intelligence discovered the Frigate Mayhem was to rendezvous with three BFF-1 bulk freighters Strider, Treader and Walker. The Alliance sent an A-wing and a Y-wing, which was piloted by Keyan Farlander to disable the Walker, which carried Habassan slaves and destroyed the other freighters. The Ranger arrived to board and liberate the slaves but as soon as it docked, the frigate Mayham arrived and tried to prevent the liberation with TIE Interceptors and Bombers, but Farlander held of the fighters long enough for Ranger to complete the operation and retreat to Alliance space.
