Ship (Sith Meditation Sphere)

Ship was the name of the Sith Meditation Sphere found by Ben Skywalker in 40 ABY. He was an ancient being whose purpose was to train Sith; to that end, he reached out to the Lost Tribe of Sith on Kesh and imparted knowledge of the galaxy at large to the isolated Tribe, bringing them off-world and guiding them to build up a Sith armada to destroy the Jedi. Ship obeyed masters of the dark side who had a strong will, and communicated thoughts with organic beings via the Force; his first contact among the Lost Tribe was the Sith Vestara Khai. However, as the Tribe amassed their forces, Ship was forced to submit to the will of a far stronger being—the dark side entity Abeloth. Commanded by Abeloth, Ship led a strike team of the Tribe to Abeloth's planet, triggering the series of events in the Lost Tribe of Sith emergence. The Jedi and Sith ultimately defeated Abeloth, and Ship helped Vestara Khai to flee the Jedi in search of other Sith in the galaxy.
