The Sledgehammer was a bomber model manufactured by Elsinore-Cordova Engineering for the Galactic Republic that saw use during the Galactic War with the reconstituted Sith Empire. Designed for destroying immobile and armored objectives such as satellites and bunkers, the Sledgehammer was designed to be more maneuverable than similar bombers but had a weaker hull. It could carry missiles or torpedoes in addition to its laser cannons, and could carry mines or drones as auxiliary systems.
