Space Slug

The Space Slug was a Tallaan Clipper transport in use during the early days of the Galactic Empire. Both the Kedorzhan Senator Dewell Bronk and the Human Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi booked passage on the ship while trying to escape the planet Coruscant in 19 BBY.

Bronk was attempting to escape persecution due to his part in the Delegation of 2000, and Kenobi was attempting to reach the planet Tatooine with the infant Luke Skywalker. Whilst the pair was on board it's first officer was drunk and ignored a pair Devaronian thugs who began harassing a elderly Twi'lek passenger. Bronk attempted to help but failed, after which Kenobi used the Force to persuade the pair to leave. Bronk then aided Kenobi in looking after Luke, following which the vessel arrived at its destination where passengers had to transfer to different ships to continue their journeys.
