The SU-42RS Flashblind Aerial Reconnaissance Airspeeder was a class of airspeeder that was used by the Galactic Republic, specifically the Republic Navy. The Republic Open Circle Armada utilized the SU-42RS during the Clone Wars. The SU-42RS was a militarized version of the SoroSuub Corporation's SU-40 airspeeder and was built for high-altitude reconnaissance. During the Galactic Civil War, SoroSuub engineers sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance, would produce the SU-42RS in small numbers and distribute them to rebel cells through the black market.
