The Suveron was a B-12 Bacta Transport. Sometime before 1 ABY, the ship exploded in the Endor system due to critical reactor failure. The destruction of the Suveron released a half million tons of bacta in space. Although it was not suitable for medicinal use anymore, the bacta survived the vacuum of space and formed a large pocket of space gas later known as the Linear Miasma. This unique phenomenon made the Linear Miasma popular among research communities.
