Unidentified Consular-class cruiser (Pijal)

A Consular-class cruiser served the Galactic Republic during the Republic Era. In 40 BBY, the vessel transported the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, to the Inner Rim planet Pijal. The cruiser was supplied with spaceport-construction supplies for the world to use after the Governance Treaty opened the Pijal Hyperspace Corridor. Upon their arrival in the planet's atmosphere, the Consular-class cruiser encountered a struggling Pijali soulcraft starship, which had been attacked with a plasma bomb by blackguards. The two Jedi left their cruiser to help dispel the plasma fire with field lasers.
