Venator II-class Star Destroyer

The Venator II-class Star Destroyer was a model of the Venator-class Star Destroyer utilized by the naval forces of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Separatist Alliance. Successor to the Venator I-class Star Destroyer, the Star Destroyer was equipped with a forward-mounted hangar bay, as well as four port and four starboard-mounted DBY-827 heavy turbolaser turrets and a single medium dual turbolaser cannon.

At some point during the war, a Venator II that served within the Republic's Open Circle Fleet was located on the surface of the Republic capital world of Coruscant in the Core Worlds region, in the government's cruiser staging area. The vessel was adorned with red livery. Later, following the war's end, the Venator II became part of the Galactic Empire's naval forces, where at least one served within an Imperial fleet alongside several other vessels, including TIE/sa bombers. The Venator II was painted in gray and was not equipped with a dual turbolaser cannon.
