The Windrunner was a balloon-lifted private airship that belonged to the House Dooku of Serenno. During his reign, Count Adan of the House Dooku regularly travelled aboard the Windrunner, accompanied by his son, Bron. In 3 BBY, a regency conclave took place aboard the airship. In the midst of negotiations, Count Rodas of the House Borgin hired the crew of the pirate airship Bloodskull to attack the Windrunner and kidnap the young Count Bron Dooku.
