The Z-TIE was a variety of Ugly hybrid starfighter that was created by affixing the chassis of a Z-95 Headhunter to the hexagonal solar panel wings of an Imperial TIE/LN starfighter. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, a Z-TIE was utilized by a band of smugglers led by the Aqualish Bandin Dobah to defend their asteroid hideout.
