The Alliance Light Stealth Armor was type of low-grade, light stealth armor created by the Alliance Military's Research and Development division. It was created by reverse-engineering the technology behind Imperial Storm Commando armor, and implementing it into retrofitted phase II clone trooper armor. The armor was coated in a specialized material that absorbed light and sound waves, which made moving around undetected by sentries and sensors easier.
The armor was commonly used by rebel troopers and Rebel Alliance Special Forces on infiltration missions during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire.
