An alta-wave calibration device was a type of calibration device with a flat gray base and a hooked arm on a stand at one end of the base. When the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his allies visited the junkshop owned by the junk dealer Watto in the city of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine in search of a T-14 hyperdrive generator in 32 BBY, an illegal alta-wave calibration device was sat by the store's back door.
